As a hobby, I began making & selling soap when my health dictated a lifestyle change. For me, making soap is a cathartic, artistic outlet that also provides us with a beautiful and useful product.
The company name is a conjugation of the names of our two sons, Everett & Linden. As a physiology & ecology professor, naturally I wanted to make a soap that was ecologically friendly. I have an artistic background, including sculpture, drawing and working with bronze and I'm happy to share our 'art' with others.
Our soap is made using the traditional Cold process method. It involves combining natural oils and sodium hydroxide which causes a chemical reaction called saponification. Pictured above is the original soap mold we constructed into which the liquid soap was poured to cool before cutting into bars.
We use natural ingredients in our soaps including natural oils such as coconut and avocado. Soaps are scented with naturally-derived essential oils and fragrance oils and given exfoliant properties with natural plant products. Plant-based & Vegan friendly.
